Shaun Da Silva Lee CEO, Gloire Production House Company CEO Biography: As the CEO of Gliore, a French performing arts firm, Shaun Lee uses his decade of business experience to choose the best acts to perform in Singapore. Ranging from Cabaret acts such as the famous Bella sisters, musicals such as “Chicago” and comedies such as “Shakespeare in 60 minutes”, Shaun uses his years of experience in the industry to attract industry giants to perform in Singapore. In 2003, the Gliore Board of Supervisors commissioned Mr. Lee to the Marketing department in the media giant, Mediacorp.  While on the appointment, he served as the Vice-Chairperson for 2 years. As Vice-chairperson, Mr Lee spearheaded and launched the “speak better English” campaign with the production of two made for television public service announcements. The campaign enlightened people on the benefits of learning how to read and write good English. Mr Lee has also published a book “English and you (the key to speaking English well )” which is a best seller, and has sold over 100,000 copies in Singapore alone. Mr Lee’s contributions to society was recognised by the Ministry of education and thus was awarded the prestigious “Baek-per” award for excellence in the field of communications in 2006. He was head-hunted by Dr Edmund Oh, the present CEO of the Gliore at the time. After joining the company, he displayed his marketing skills and resourcefulness in Public Relations, therefore rising through the ranks to get to where he is today. Mr Lee has previously served as the Regional Manager of Singapore Press Holdings and is an active member in a multi-national charity organisation known as the Lion’s Club. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the National University of Singapore and is currently pursuing  an MBA in Holy Names University.
  History of Gloire Gloire Cabaret Group is the creation of Shaun Lee, pianist and Masters in Performing Arts. He and the small group of crew have been working together for over 20 years all around France and other parts of Europe. Each and every work they have produced together, ‘El Cortázar, ‘Genios’, ‘Los de Afrodita’ and ‘Omar Khayyam’ shares the same values: Musicality & Breaking Limits. In the 1970’s, Gloire Cabaret group used to produce mainly musical performances and performed all around Europe. Through the 30 years, we have had many famous guest performers like Elvis Presley, The Beatles and many more. Our group of cast gradually expanded from a 30 strong team of dancers to 120 team of experienced dancers. In 2000, Gloire began to open up to more cabaret styled shows taking after re-known production houses like Moulin Rouge and Crazy Horse. We launched our Dining services with a “Spoilt- for-choice menu”, mainly french cuisine cooked by our very world famous chef, Kenneth Tan. In 2010, with the sponsorship of Golden Village Entertainment Limited in Singapore, Gloire will be part of Singapore’s night life.  Our style of performance became characterized by an intimate nightclub setting to suit the ambience of Clarke Quay, featuring a variety of entertainers and an ever present emcee. This year will mark a significant milestone for the entire cast in Gloire. Tous les meilleurs!
